Committees
TCIO committees serve Districts 70, 71, 72, and 73 of Area 62 as stipulated in the TCIO Bylaws.
Committees
| Committee | What it does |
|---|---|
| Accessibility | Ensures alcoholics can access meetings regardless of challenges with mobility or mental health. |
| Communications | Maintains TCIO’s AA hotline so an alcoholic in our area always has someone to talk to. |
| Corrections | Brings meetings into correctional facilities to carry the message to incarcerated alcoholics. |
| PI/CPC | Public Information and Cooperation with the Professional Community. Brings AA literature to libraries and public spaces. Represents AA at conferences for professionals working in medicine, behavioral health, and human resources. |
| Treatment | Brings AA meetings into treatment facilities in the area. Maintains treatment commitment schedule. Hosts bi-monthly online meeting where groups can sign up for rotating treatment commitments. |
